Hello Dance Team Parents,

Hope everyone is doing well.  Hard to believe regular season HS football wraps up this week already and we are gearing up for our competitive season in less than 2 months!  We are really proud of how great the girls performed out on the track this season at the football games and I know they have really enjoyed supporting their football team!

Attached to this email you will find the following:

  • Team Contact List (updated)

  • Season Schedule (through the end of the season- only item yet to be added is our end of the year banquet)

  • Football Warm-Ups Care Instructions & Replacement Fees

Below are a couple reminders:

  • Practice locations have been included on the schedule for the remainder of the season.

  • As we head into football playoffs we will inform as to which games we will be performing at to support our team.  The girls will be notified as soon as I receive word from our Athletic Office that a game is scheduled. All potential dates are currently held in red on our team calendar. Our intent is to cover home playoff games/state (if we make it) however this is subject to change.

  • Basketball games we will support and perform at are listed on the updated schedule.

  • All competitions the team will attend have now been added to the schedule.  If the team should qualify for the WACPC State Dance Competition rooms have been held for the team/coaching staff at Hampton Inn in La Crosse (511 3rd Street N., La Crosse, Wisconsin, 54601).  Please note, for planning purposes, that the team will need to qualify at WACPC Regionals at Kimberly HS on January 27 for the opportunity to go to the state competition.  If we do not qualify the rooms will be cancelled.

  • Reminder to all families to please keep the evening of Friday, January 26 and all day Saturday, January 27 blocked for the setup and running of the WACPC Eastern Regionals Dance Competition at Kimberly HS.  Planning for this event is currently underway and more specific details will be shared with larger group soon. This fundraiser takes a tremendous amount of effort and time but really helps to drive down our team fees so it is expected that all families participate.

Lastly, we are currently looking for someone who would be interested in setting up a couple of team community service projects.  This is a great community and we would love a way to give back, especially around the holidays!  If someone is interested in taking the lead with coordinating this for the team please let me know.

Have a great rest of your week and as always thanks so much for your continued support!

Thanks,
Kelly Van Noie
